All three chemists in Diss are opening reduced hours.This seems to alter frequently. Most patients who are not entitled to have their 
medicines dispensed at the Doctors surgery (only patients that live more than a mile from a Pharmacy as the crow flies) have their 
prescription sent electronically to their nominated pharmacy. Whilst normally this works very well it does mean that you can only go 
to your nominated pharmacy once the prescription has been sent by the surgery.  
This does cause a problem if your nominated pharmacy is closed when you try to collect.   Patients can change their nominated a pharmacy 
BEFORE their next prescription is ordered if they wish.
Boots offer a delivery service for which there is a charge, and Well also deliver.  
They are both are overloaded at the moment and may well not be able to cope with any more patients. 

The Diss Health Centre door is manned and entry is restricted  and  your temperature is taken on entry.
Both dispensaries are open and prescriptions  are able to be collected as normal , however the turnaround time is around 4 - 5 days 
between ordering and collecting due to the current situation....and there are now some supply issues.

Repeat prescriptions- there is often confusion: - To clarify any one using the Managed Repeat Service from any of the chemists  means 
that the prescription is still ordered from the Doctors surgery on the patients behalf but the chemist takes on this role.  
Some patients chose to place their own “order” at the Health Centre and have it sent to the chemist electronically.

The Botesdale Health Centre Patient Participation Group (PPG) have been requested by the Health Centre to inform as many Patients as possible to ring the Practice prior to any appointments they already have booked.
